In simple terms, a bunion is a ‘bump’ (or swollen surface) on the outside of the Big Toe that can become painful or extremely sensitive to the touch. They usually form due to years of pressure on the big toe that cause it to become out of alignment with the rest of your toes and create a painful ‘bump’. Fun Fact: You can develop a bunion on the outside of your baby toe, which is often referred to as a Bunionette or Taylor’s Bunion!
