Tennis Elbow is characterized by pain/ tightness and/or tenderness on the lateral epicondyle of the humerus, during wrist movements/ gripping / flexion and extension of the forearm. This conditions stems from daily repetitive movements of the wrist or forearm, often by athletics or job demands that put continued strain on the wrist extensors.
Symptoms:
Pain/tightness on the outside of the elbow radiating into the forearm and wrist
Pain while gripping
Risk Factors:
Occupations that involve repetitive motions
Weak Forearms
Age - tennis elbow is most common in adults between 30 and 50 years old
Certain sports - like racquet sports
