ICBC Active Rehabilitation
Our Kinesiologists work one-on-one with people who are experiencing pain, discomfort, and/or physical limitations as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
How does it work?
During the initial assessment our Kinesiologists will review your health history and current complaint as it relates to the accident. You should expect to give them your claim number and the contact information for your claim adjuster so that they can communicate with ICBC.
What happens at the initial assessment?
We will perform a posture assessment, movement screen and strength and flexibility testing in order to determine your physical strengths and weaknesses. They can then create a custom, progressive exercise program based on your specific needs.
For accidents that occurred prior to May 2021 your Kinesiologist will use the information obtained in the initial assessment to submit a treatment plan requesting that your sessions be covered.
For accidents that occurred after May 2021 you are automatically approved for 12 kinesiology sessions and your Kinesiologist will directly bill for your appointments to ICBC after confirming with your adjustor the duration for which you are covered.
